moreWe found the original reference for this piece one day not long ago, well inside the Marche Serpette Flea market in Paris. It was the "marriage" of a pair of early 19th century table bases and a cut down antique parquet dining tabletop. The result is a stunning, almost eight foot long console which can serve well in a living room, works as a buffet table in a dining room or kitchen, and is wonderful in a dramatic entrance. Artisan made in antique reclaimed pine and finished in a hand-rubbed bleached white with a geometric parquet top.
